"Translating Sound to Matter" is a poetic exploration by RBG18 studio into the invisible structures of sound, making the intangible tangible. By utilizing cymatic technology, sound waves are transformed into physical, functional objects. This artistic process navigates intuitively between controlled intention and organic chaos, resulting in sculptural vessels that embody both abstract beauty and practical interaction.
The outcome is a series of distinct, carefully crafted objects: a 15 kg sitting object and an 80 kg side table, both serving as functional art pieces. Through the fusion of technology, craftsmanship, and philosophical inquiry, this project challenges perceptions of form and function, revealing the hidden rhythms and patterns inherent in sound.
